Angelica is Kvann;  Plant Deva Workshop

A community fundraiser supporting Volva Kari Tauring’s study in Northern Norway with Sámi/Norwegian culture bearer Øistein Hanssen

Join us for a one day immersive class with Kvann (Ancelica, archangelica), a Nordic plant long held as a valuable ally with culture bearer and community Elder, Kari Tauring.

In this 2 hour garden intensive, we will work closely with Kvann as both a physical plant and a living sovereign being, hearing about  its folklore, medicinal, energetic, magical and culinary uses. This is a sensory immersive class where we will taste, touch, smell, observe and listen to tis powerful plant ally.

Come prepared to be outside, engage with the plant directly, and to be in community learning together.

Class fees are on a sliding scale of $30 up and will be collected on the day of. All fees collected will go to the Kvann Project and will help to cover local travel, food and a gift to give Kari's teacher.

Light refreshments will be served.
