Come Sit with Oregano Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Location: Duafe House, North Minneapolis Cost: Sliding scale $150 – $300 for the full series (payment plans & partial scholarships available) About the Series This month, we turn toward Oregano, our warm-hearted and protective plant kin, known for its aromatic strength, healing gifts, and deep connection to hearth and home. Though humble and familiar, Oregano has long been treasured as a medicine, a blessing herb, and a guardian of the household. Together, we will explore the folklore, herbal wisdom, and spiritual teachings of this beloved plant ally, We will use our work with Oregano as a way of learning how to work with plants as teachers and allies. How do we listen? How do we approach a plant with curiosity and respect? How do we pay attention over time? Each person will be building their own relationship with the Deva of Oregano, noticing how it meets them, how it shows up in their life which may not be the same as what it teaches someone else. That’s part of the work. This is slow, intentional work. The small group size allows space for each person to be witnessed, to listen deeply, and to build relationship over time. We Will; *Meet the spirit (or Deva) of Oregano and discover your unique connection *Explore the magical, physical, and spiritual uses of this powerful plant *Learn to identify, harvest, store, and prepare with care *Create your own medicine to bring into your home practice *Listen for the teachings and guidance Nettles offers you personally *Learn through story, touch, taste, prayer, and shared ritual *Build relationship with Nettles as a Deva, a being with personality, presence and intelligence You’ll Receive *Time in the sun and garden (weather permitting) * An oregano-infused garden luncheon each week * Fresh plant material each class * Medicine-making such as tincture, salve, or ritual item * Craft project such as an amulet, altar tool, or botanical art * Monthly plant-focus zine * Guided meditations, journaling prompts, and group sharing This series is for anyone wishing to form a living relationship with a plant and integrate it into their magical, physical, and spiritual practice. Registration Sliding scale \$125 – \$325 for the full four-class series. Payment plans and limited scholarships available.
