An Introduction to Liberation Through Ancestor Veneration

We invite you to join us for an 8-week journey into the foundations of ancestor work as spiritual resistance and liberation.

This course is a beginning place for those who feel called to build a grounded relationship with the ancestors and explore what it means to walk with the beloved dead in times of personal and collective change.

Across many traditions, the ancestors are not only remembered but actively honored and consulted for healing, protection, wisdom, and justice. In this intimate learning circle we will explore the foundations of ancestor veneration and spiritual relationship: how to begin, how to listen, how to create safety, and how to build a practice that is life-giving, ethical, and sustainable.

Together we will explore how ancestor work can support both personal healing and collective liberation, especially in times when we are called to act with courage, clarity, and spiritual grounding.

Intentions

• A deeper relationship with your beloved dead

• A deepened trust in your own intuition as part of ancestral communication

• Clear boundaries around when and how you connect

• Tools for altar work, ceremony, and ancestral communication

• Guidance for navigating complicated or painful ancestral histories

• Practices for protection, discernment, and grounding

• Connection to a supportive community of practitioners

Over 8 sessions we will draw from culturally grounded traditions, spiritual herbalism, altar practice, and ritual forms of listening, offering, and protection, alongside guided exercises, discussion, and creative soul-crafting practices.

For this reason, not everyone who applies will be offered a place in this current session.

These questions help us understand who is being called to the work at this time and help us shape a group container that can support everyone involved. Please answer as honestly as you are able and only share what feels comfortable.
