Ancestor Work As Spiritual Resistance
Online(for White Bodied European Diasporic Peoples)

An Online Introduction to Liberation Through Ancestor Veneration (For White Bodied Folks)
We invite you to join us in a 8-week online journey into the foundations of ancestor work as spiritual resistance and liberation.
This online course is a beginning place for those who feel called to build a grounded, supportive relationship with the ancestors and explore what it means to walk with the beloved dead in times of personal and collective change.
Ancestor practice has long been a source of strength and guidance, through grief, upheaval, and transformation. We are honored to share these teachings with you in an intimate and supportive circle.
About This Cohort
This online cohort is currently being held as a white-bodied learning container.
This allows us to focus more directly on the work of ancestry, accountability, repair, and responsibility within white lineages, without placing additional labor on BIPOC participants.
A future cohort will include BIPOC-only space, which will be held separately with care and intention.
Together, we will focus on the fundamentals of ancestor veneration: how to begin, how to listen, how to create safety, and how to build a practice that is life-giving, ethical and sustainable.
it is our intention that participants will leave with:
• A deeper connection to your beloved dead
• Clear boundaries around when, how, and with whom you connect
• Tools for ceremony, spiritual practice, and ancestral support
• Guidance for navigating complicated or painful ancestral histories
• Connection to a community of like-minded practitioners
This course is helpful if you wonder how to be in relationship with your ancestors, feel stuck with complicated lineage, want more clarity and protection in your practice, or are simply tired of doing this work alone.
Over 8 sessions, we will use journey using tools from Völva Stav tradition, explore spiritual herbalism, explore altar work and practice rituals of listening, offering, protection, and relationship.
All participants will receive a mailed Soul-Crafting Box with materials for the creative and devotional work of the course, including:
• Ancestor Doll Kit
• Dream Pillow & Dreaming Tea Kit
• Rhythm and sound makers
• Petition and prayer materials
• Journal-making items
Each week we will begin with open our boxes together as ritual.
