You Do Not Have to Do Ancestor Work Alone
Ancestor Work as Spiritual Resistance is an 8-week hybrid course designed for those who feel called to deepen their relationship with their ancestors and explore how this work can support healing, protection, and collective change.
In an intimate circle of twelve participants, we will explore altar practice, ancestral communication, and ritual tools that help cultivate a sustainable and ethical ancestor practice.

Ancestor Work as Spiritual Resistance – Level 1
Ancestor Work as Spiritual Resistance is an 8-week learning circle for those who feel called to build a grounded relationship with their ancestors and explore what it means to walk with the beloved dead in times of personal and collective change.
Across many traditions, ancestors are honored as sources of wisdom, protection, healing, and guidance. This course offers a supportive space to explore the foundations of ancestor veneration and develop a practice that is ethical, life-giving, and sustainable.
Together we will explore altar work, ancestral listening, protection practices, and spiritual tools drawn from Völva Stav tradition, spiritual herbalism, and ritual practices of offering, discernment, and relationship.
Participants may leave the course with a deeper sense of connection to their beloved dead, greater clarity around when and how to engage in ancestor work, and practical tools for ceremony, protection, and spiritual grounding. The course also offers opportunities to learn to listen for and deepen trust in your own intuition as part of ancestral communication.
This work is especially supportive for those who feel drawn toward ancestor practice, are navigating complicated lineage, or are seeking community while exploring these traditions.

About This Cohort
This online cohort is currently being held as a white-bodied learning container.
This allows us to focus more directly on the work of ancestry, accountability, repair, and responsibility within white lineages, without placing additional labor on BIPOC participants.
A future cohort will include BIPOC-only space, which will be held separately with care and intention.
